Not even a chocolate bar?” Joey questioned to make sure, pointing the small bag Catzi had at her side. So unfortunately for us, I don’t have anything either.” “Actually, I was going to…” She began, and Joey’s hope started to rose, “Until you practically shoved me out the door so we can get to the ship. “Awe man! What were we thinking coming here with no food? How are we going to get through this competition without anything to eat?” Joey whined and he turned to Catzi in hopes she had food, “Catzi, ya gotta have something! You were so bent on packing yer bag before we left, remember?” “Sorry, Joey.” Yugi added in embarrassment. Did any of you guys remember to bring any food with ya?” “Okay, okay! Fair enough! I’m just really happy I won is all,” Joey said, and his stomach let out a huge growl, “Whoa…all that dueling made me hungry. And this is one of those few rare times.” She said and Yugi laughed nervously. I’m only going to compliment you when it calls for it. “Whoa, Catzi giving me praise? Now I know I gotta be dreaming! Any chance you can write that down, so I remember this moment?” Joey asked and Catzi gave him a look, As much as I don’t want to admit it, I believed in him too,” Catzi said, a small smirk playing at the corners of her mouth, “And I am glad you put Mai in her place.” I’m really proud of you, Joey.” Yugi said, beaming at his friend. Who would’ve thought?” Tea nodded though Joey was too busy admiring his star chips to even care what they were saying. “Awe, cut him slack, girls,” Tristan started to say, catching Catzi and Tea’s attention, “Did you ever think Joey would actually beat Mai in a duel? I mean, this is Joey we are talking about here.” There has to be a time limit on how long he gets to crow, right?” Tea said, equally annoyed. Can you please stop now?” She questioned the annoyed tone clear in her voice. And you been going on about this for the past half hour. You won your first duel and now have two star chips. A pause followed for a moment, “Well? Isn’t this great? I won my first duel! And I have two star chips now!” He said and Catzi rolled her eyes, He glanced over at Yugi, Catzi, Tea, and Tristan who were all staring at him. “Whooey! Heh! Two star chips!” Joey started laughing, staring down at the two star chips on his glove, “Check it out! This is so awesome! I can’t believe it happened! Am I cool, or what? Hehehehehehe!” Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this next episode and once again thanks for those who have faved this story! It means a lot to me! Also, I love writing out Joey and Catzi's interactions. And I will try my best to make these duels like they are to the real game. However, this does make Catzi realize she is not seeing the same Yugi. I don't want Bast to appear only because Yami Yugi is. Like when Mai was giving Catzi a hard time or when Joey was in need of support. Reason being is, she only appears if Catzi is desperate enough or very angry. And on another note, despite Yami Yugi dueling, Bast won't be appearing in this episode. So for this, it's going to be a combo of both. Truth be told, we really have no idea if his father is alive or not. But eh.at least he leaves a big enough impact! Now, keep in mind, I have heard that in the Japanese sub, Mako's father is dead while in the English, his father is probably still alive. XD I am sad he only appears for a grand total of two times. Here we are! Another episode to boot! And also introducing one of my favorite characters, Mako! I seriously love this guy.
